Privacy policy

In case you need to know:

Whether you are a client or supplier (or friend for that matter), I won't share your personal details with anyone without first asking your permission - sometimes I have colleagues you might be able to work with or who might be able to help you.

I will keep your personal details to myself, I will not sell them to anyone.

Any details I do have - usually just phone number, email and work address are stored on my PC which is encrypted (which means no-one should be able to get at them if they hack me or steal my computer).

My phone is encrypted too.

I might drop you an email from time to time to see how you are or let you know what I'm up to. I won't ever bombard you with emails begging for work. I might call to invite you to coffee or lunch.

I will ask your permission before sharing work I've done with you even if it is in the public domain.

I will keep hold of your contact details so that I can do business with you now and in the future (I believe that is called a 'legitimate business interest'). Should we get 10-years down the line and have not spoken or have not worked together, I will delete your details.

Unless contractually obliged to delete immediately or return to client, I usually keep project assets for three years past the end of a project, photography, design files etc. as they often come in handy when a client asks me if I've still got it because they have lost their copy.

If for some reason you think I have some of your personal details and you want me to remove / return / delete them, just drop me an email and I'll sort it out for you and send you a confirmation when done.
